Roof Cleaning

How much does it cost?
It depends entirely on the size and condition of the surface, so we do not publish a fixed price list. Send a photo or two by email or text and you will get a clear, fixed price back — usually within 24 hours, and with no obligation.
Will pressure washing damage my roof or render?
It absolutely can — which is exactly why we do not use it on those surfaces. Roofs and render are cleaned with a low-pressure softwash and the right treatment, which removes the moss and algae without displacing tiles, stripping render or forcing water where it should not go.
Do I need to be at home while you work?
Not usually. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and an outside tap or water source, you are welcome to be out. We will let you know when we arrive and when we are finished.
How long does moss and algae stay away?
On roofs and render we apply a biocide treatment after cleaning, which typically keeps regrowth at bay for several years. Hard surfaces like drives and patios depend on shade, drainage and tree cover — sealing after cleaning noticeably extends the result.
Do you work for businesses as well as homes?
Yes. Alongside domestic work we clean commercial premises, car parks, forecourts and communal areas across Somerset and Dorset. Get in touch and we will quote the site properly.
Can you really re-colour tarmac?
Yes — and the difference is dramatic. After a deep clean we apply a black tarmac restorer that puts an even, fresh colour back into faded surfaces. It costs a fraction of relaying a drive and is done in a day.
